Coming from a low-income background, Dechen’s journey has been marked by resilience and quiet strength. Raised by a single father who struggles with alcohol addiction, Dechen has had to fend for himself when it comes to basic educational needs—school fees, books, and uniforms are often beyond reach. Despite these challenges, he remains committed to his studies. To support his education, Dechen works at construction sites during school breaks. With occasional help from kind-hearted relatives, he has managed to reach this far in his academic path. Dechen’s dream is simple: to continue learning and create a better life.
